According to US Weekly, Kate Middleton has been keeping a watchful eye over the renovation of Kensington Palace, where she, William and George will make a new home in Apartment 1A. Even during her pregnancy, US Weekly reports that Kate was picking out fabrics, furnishings and antiques via her smartphone.

"Their home is beautiful. This is a very exciting time for them," said a source.

The new home is apparently decked out in beiges and earth tones, with items from "the royal accessory collection" strewn throughout. Highlights include two Corinthian lamps in the entranceway and a $50,000 Persian rug, both from this "collection," as well as two faux-fur throws from the Peter Jones department store, valued at $129 each.

But obviously, that can't be all of Kate's contributions to the palace's living quarters. She's reportedly working alongside designer Anne Allen to redecorate much of the 20-room abode, which features three kitchens, his and hers bathrooms and a panic room.
