8 Celebs Who Stomp Their Own Grapes
You've seen them on the big screen, you've read about them in the news, and now, after years of waiting, you can finally savor the light, fruity flavors and bouquets of the Jolie-Pitts, one glass at a time.
Decanter.com reports that Angelina and Brad intend to release the first bottled offering from their Château Miraval winery in France. (The couple had leased the property in 2007, but only recently became its permanent owners.) The rosé, called Miraval, is set to hit shelves in March, with production and distribution being overseen by the renowned Perrin family of winemakers.
"They [the Jolie-Pitts] want to ensure they are making the best Provence wines they can," says winemaker Marc Perrin. "They were present at the blending sessions this year, and are relooking at everything from the installations in the winery … to reworking the labels across the range of wines."
Sounds like a classy operation, but what else were we expecting?
But for those of us who can't wait to taste the fruits of a celebrity winery, there are plenty of other celebrity-made wines to sample — many of which can be found at your local liquor store. Have a look below.
