After just 14 months of marriage, comedian Russell Brand filed for divorce from "Wide Awake" singer Katy Perry. "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage," said Brand in an official statement. "I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends," he added.

"Real Housewives" star Bethenny Frankel separated from Jason Hoppy, her husband of three years, in late 2012. "This was an extremely difficult decision that as a woman and a mother, I have to accept as the best choice for our family," stated Frankel.

Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman

"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" actor Danny DeVito and "Cheers" actress Rhea Perlman were together for more than thirty years before announcing their separation in October. DeVito has since clarified their status, and was quoted as saying, “Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together.”

Seal and Heidi Klum

Despite renewing their vows every year, Seal and Heidi Klum called it quits in January. Klum officially filed for divorce in April, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Will Arnett and Amy Poehler

Comedians Will Arnett and Amy Poehler were married for nine years and welcomed two sons before breaking up in September. They can still be seen together on NBC, where Arnett and Poehler star in separate Thursday-night sitcoms ("Up All Night" and "Parks and Recreation," respectively).

Danica Patrick and Paul Hospenthal

"I am sad to inform my fans that after seven years, Paul and I have decided amicably end our marriage," wrote racecar driver Danica Patrick on her Facebook page in November. The two initially met when Hospenthal, who works as a physical therapist, was treating Patrick for an injury in 2002.
