Kensington Palace Releases First Official Photos of Prince George

The world caught its first glimpse of Prince George on July 23rd, just a day after he was born to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. It wasn't until today, however, that Kensington Palace released two official portraits of the future king and his family.

The above photograph was taken by Kate's father Michael Middleton in early August, and it depicts the royals in the yard of the Middleton family home in Bucklebury, Berkshire. A second portrait from the same shoot, which includes the Middleton family's retriever Tilly and the royal couple's cocker spaniel Lupo, can be seen below.

His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge was born in the Lindo Wing of London's St. Mary's Hospital on July 22, 2013. He's third in line to the British throne.
