In crushing news to "little monsters" everywhere, Lady Gaga has canceled the remaining dates of her Born This Way Ball Tour. The news comes only days after the singer complained of joint pain, which initially caused her to postpone four of her upcoming concerts.

"After additional tests this morning to review the severity of the issue, it has been determined that Lady Gaga has a labral tear of the right hip," stated concert promotion firm Live Nation in a letter to a Lady Gaga fan site. "She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover."
Unfortunately, this means that Gaga won't be making it to the final 21 dates in her tour. There was no immediate word on whether the singer's surgery would impact the release of her upcoming album "ARTPOP."
For fans who already hold tickets for the Born This Way Ball, refunds are available starting today.
