Rumors have been swirling since the two got married last year, but it seems that the long-awaited moment is finally here: The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their first child.

A statement posted on the couple's website says that William and Kate are "very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby." The good news was announced early on Monday, after Middleton was admitted to a London hospital with an acute case of morning sickness. She's expected to remain there until she recovers.
