Adam Levine is Engaged: Check Out His Model-Heavy Dating History

Reuters

We always just assumed that Adam Levine was on a Leonardo-DiCaprio-like trajectory when it came to relationships, dating a never-ending string of swimsuit models, lingerie models, and most any other type of model. But we assumed wrong, because the Maroon 5 frontman has decided to propose to Behati Prinsloo.

Levine and Prinsloo, a 24-year-old Victoria's Secret Angel, started their relationship back in May of 2012. They were thought to have split up for good about a year afterward, but Levine put those rumors to rest after proposing to the Namibian model this past weekend in Los Angeles.

It appears that Levine has finally found the supermodel he was looking for — and that's saying something, because he's had his share.

Here's a look back at his picturesque past loves:

Nina Agdal

Levine had been linked to Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal (R) since earlier this spring. He and the Danish 21-year-old were spotted vacationing in Mexico as recently as June.

Before Agdal, Levine was dating his current fiancée. He and Prinsloo began their relationship sometime in May 2012.

Anne Vyalitsyna

After meeting at a Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue release party in 2010, Levine and Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna became an item and dated for close to two years. (In addition to appearing in the past nine SI swimsuit issues, Vyalitsyna is also a Victoria's Secret fashion model). While they were together, Vyalitsyna appeared in the music videos for Maroon 5's "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" and "Misery."

Before Anne V, Levine briefly dated model and actress Arielle Vandenberg (R) in late 2009.

Maria Sharapova

Back in 2005, The Sun reported that Levine and champion tennis player Maria Sharapova were an item. (In keeping with the theme, Sharapova would go on to model for the 2006 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.)
