There's a new way to keep up with the latest news from Vatican City. Twitter users will soon be able to read Pope Benedict's theological musings in 140 characters or less.

The Vatican recently announced Pope Benedict XVI's plans to start tweeting under the handle (at)Pontifex. Starting December 12, he'll reportedly begin answering questions — which can be submitted via (hashtag)AskPontifex — relating to religion and faith. Fox News also reports that the pontiff will simultaneously tweet in eight different languages in order to accommodate as wide an audience as possible.

It's certainly going to be a change of pace to see the pope pop up in your Twitter feed, but will his presence change your Twitter habits? Tell us what you think below.
